The Cool Dog Watch (CDW) will monitor and alarm up to 4 temperature and one voltage sensor(s). Two temperature and one voltage sensors are included with the Main unit. Each sensor is independently programmable for a high temperature alert and the voltage sensor for low voltage alert.

As an option, the CDW can wirelessly display the sensor and alarm information to a CDW remote sensor display unit, which has a 150 foot range. This allows monitoring of the temperatures and voltage of the animal transport trailer while in motion from the drivers compartment or tow vehicle. The system is also capable of multiple remote display units wirelessly connected to a single CDW unit.
The CDW remote display does use external power. A CDW remote display is included in the CDW "complete" package.

If an alarm condition occurs the LCD will switch to the sensor(s) that have triggered the alarm condition. If more than one sensor has triggered the alarm condition, the LCD will scroll through each alarm sensor. This allows the user to quickly address the problem area.

Both the Main unit and remote display unit have 4 alarm outputs with different signaling formats. If an alarm condition occurs, all 4 formats become active at the same time insuring maximum notification of a alarm condition in the animal transport trailer.

Temperature range in the standard unit is from 30F to 230F. Voltage sensor from 8v to 28v.
        High temperature version 15F to 300F available as an option.

  Options:
  

• Paging System ($285) is available for all components of the Cool Dog Watch.
  
• Accessory Unit ($125) simplifies high current (20A) load driving and connections. Switched ground (standard) or 12v switching (on request), optional fan driver for Up to a single 15" fan ($50).
  Fan driver & fan itself are optional. Fan will run at high speed in an alarm condition.
  
• CDW remote display ($325) requires a CDW that has the wireless option installed.
  
• Wireless option for the CDW (Basic). (for use with the CDW remote display) ($50)
  Does not include the CDW remote display unit.
  
• 6 fan driver unit ($225, includes fan control option, Accy unit not included or required). 6 fan driver unit can operate up to 6 12" fans (or smaller). all 6 fans will run at the same manually set speed. High speed in a alarm condition.
  6 fans will draw a significant amount of power (current, ~25A) and needs to have a substantial battery or in the case of a generator equipped trailer, suitable power supply with very good regulation and filtering.
